Mosquitos are parasitic insects that spread deadly diseases like malaria and dengue fever; they’re literally the deadliest animals on earth. There are many ways of mutating mosquitos to combat the diseases by means of birth control and killing off the insects themselves. But are there flaws in the plan to modify the mosquitos and reintroduce them to the wild? Are there unintended consequences? Kim Horcher discusses with science educator and actress Christina Ochoa.
