The San Francisco Giants are headed to the NLDS to face the red hot Washington Nationals for a spot in the National League Championship Series. Madison Bumgarner pitched a complete game shutout and propelled the Giants past the Pirates and SS Brandon Crawford made post season baseball history becoming the first SS to hit a grand slam in the playoffs. Starting pitching is very important as we enter the Divisional Series and the Bumgarner led Giants will be up against a strong Nationals rotation that includes Stephen Strasburg and Jordan Zimmerman.
