This riveting documentary gives a moment by moment account of the death of 18-year-old Michael Brown and the response that followed.
After Michael Brown was killed by Officer Darren Wilson of the Ferguson Police Department, the community erupted in outrage and gathered to protest the unwarranted shooting and demand accountability. Authorities met the protests with heavy-handed tactics, reflecting the increasing militarization of American police departments, deploying armored vehicles, sonic crowd-control devices, assault rifles and tear gas. As tensions escalated, the national media descended upon Ferguson, Missouri, spurring a wide-ranging national conversation about racial inequality in America, police treatment of blacks, the alarming use of military-style tactics and gear to quell constitutionally-protected rights, and how far American society has to go in order to achieve true equality.

That race percentage graph in blue and black… worst. graph. ever. Can’t make heads or tails of what it is trying to show. when the black population is 52% – over half – the graph seems to show a tiny sliver around the blue. It also starts with the black in the middle of the blue then changes in the last two with the blue in the black. so confusing.
