The Hong Kong protests over the right for the region to determine their own leadership has turned into what is being called an “Umbrella Revolution” after protesters have been using umbrellas as protection from pepper spray. Police forces have now pulled back as the occupation of the streets continues amidst a growing fear of a militarized response.
