Police in Redding, California have arrested a man accused of killing and cooking his ex-girlfriend’s dog and serving the animal to her in a meal. The woman reported that she was being stalked by the man, who she had dated for several months. She fled her apartment after he attacked her during an argument and when she returned, both her boyfriend and her Pomeranian dog, “Bear,” were gone. The couple briefly reconciled, and he cooked her a meal with meat. Last Sunday, he sent her a text message referencing the meal and asking “how her dog tasted.” The couple broke up and then he came to the woman’s house in the middle of the night and placed the dog’s paws on her front doorstep.
