Khorasan, an extremist group led by a former Al-Qaeda commander named Muhsin al-Fadhli, may pose as much of a threat as ISIS to the U.S., according to James Clapper, the U.S. Director of National Intelligence. The group’s goals are different than those of ISIS in that they aim to exploit the influx of Western jihadists who possess valuable passports.
