The US Air Force has told a sergeant he will have to leave the military unless he agrees to take an oath with the phrase “so help me God.”

Also in atheist news, a new survey from the American Humanist Association found that many Americans would like “under God” removed from the Pledge of Allegiance, after being told those words were not part of the original text.
