The Miami Marlins NL MVP candidate Giancarlo Stanton took a brutal fastball to the face in yesterday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers. Mike Fiers, pitcher for the Brewers, unintentionally had a fastball pitch get away from him and Stanton turned into the ball resulting in multiple facial fractures after he was carted off the field. A very scary moment in baseball, one that happens every so often, and it is never fun to look at.

With Stanton out (most likely) for the remainder of the season, do the Marlins have any chance of making the Wild Card?
