In 2013, ten states introduced resolutions calling for an amendment to get money out of politics. So far in 2014, twenty states have done so. Two states (Vermont & California) actually passed. Among this year’s crop, Maine, Montana and Minnesota are on the verge of voting to push the legislation forward. Victories in those states would add to the already tremendous momentum we are building. If you’ve had it with the same old, same old politics where big money is the only interest group politicians listen to, then it’s time for you to act.
