Jon Lester is once again a part of a playoff bound team and Lester is at his best in the postseason. His World Series leading ERA made him one of the most wanted players at the trade deadline. Lester landed on the A’s, but is still going to be a free agent this winter. Lester has put together the best free agent pitching season since Kevin Brown in 1998, where a lot of the league was on steroids and that era of baseball was about to hit its climax.
