Two Wiccans filed a lawsuit against the city of Bloomfield, New Mexico over a Ten Commandments monument standing on the front hall of their City Hall leading a federal judge nominated by President Ronald Reagan to order that the monument be removed.
U.S. District Judge James A. Parker sided with the Wiccans on the grounds that the monument endorsed Christianity and was in violation of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. We
