The McDonald’s Corporation states that it will continue to do business with a meat supplier that was recently shut down by Chinese authorities, for selling expired, moldy and tainted meat.
In Mid July, Chinese based Shanghai Dragon TV aired an undercover investigation of Shanghai Husi Foods, an American owned meat processing facility. Among other things the investigation uncovered, the company routinely changed expiration dates on products, processed meat that was more than 7 months expired, moldy, smelly, and meat that had fallen on the floor or was otherwise contaminated.
