If you want to live in reality you have to divide this into 3 separate issues. First, she’s a teacher. You don’t have sex with your students. No question she should be fired.
Then there’s the legal issue. He’s a minor. Doesn’t matter if he consented or not, she broke the law and has to face the legal consequences.
However, the third issue can’t be ignored: Nature. You can make all the laws you want, set the age of consent wherever you like, Nature doesn’t care. Once humans go through puberty they are sexual animals and it’s totally natural for them to have sex. It’s one of the strongest primal urges we have, right below eating and breathing. Most adults are sexually attracted to young, fertile partners. We’ve been conditioned over thousands of years to control it, but it’s still there: perpetuate the species.
I am a teacher, and I spend most of my day surrounded by teenagers. Every person matures at their own speed. I have seniors who are 18-years-old who physically still look like they are ten, and I have 12-year-olds who have already developed into curvy young women. Anyone who says it is “sick” to have sexual desires for 14 or 15-year-olds obviously doesn’t spend much time around kids that age. Of course I am sexually attracted to certain students, but I control my urges because I don’t want to lose my job or get put in prison.
I think the most important thing is to educate teenagers about their sexuality and the consequences of having sex before they are emotionally ready. Just telling them “Don’t do it” is like spitting in the wind.
I must have gone to the wrong school. All I had at age 15 were very mean and equally ugly St. Joe nuns. What’s wrong with these broads anyway, seems few if any are dogs, can’t they find anyone their own age?
i know its been said a million times but really, if a 29 year old man had sex with a 15 year old girl it would be no questions asked, send the guy to jail.
this is no different
