The UK has banned the teaching creationism as a scientific theory in publicly- funded schools…and this includes religious schools. The rationale included that creationism “does not accord with the scientific consensus or the very large body of established scientific evidence” and that the idea is “rejected by most mainstream churches and religious traditions.” Sounds rational, right?
