‘Star Wars Katie’ was a young girl who was bullied for liking “boys” stuff– like Star Wars. Enter the 501st Legion – the Stormtrroper costuming fan group was having none of this, so they made her a specially sized child’s stormtrooper suit. This was 2 years ago. Now Katie has paid it forward, in a huge showing of unity, compassion, and acceptance in the community. Urrrrfgh. So many emotions.
