Suspect Fatally Stabs His Bully In Self Defense

“A 14-year-old boy was fatally stabbed outside of a school in the Bronx on Wednesday, and a boy of the same age has been taken into custody and charged with murder.

The suspect, Noel Estevez of the Bronx, was charged as an adult with second-degree murder and manslaughter late Wednesday night, police said.

But as CBS 2’s Hazel Sanchez reported, neighbors and family friends said the alleged assailant had been the victim of bullying, and one even argued that the teen who was arrested was in the right.

“It was for self-defense!” said family friend Marisol Perez. “It was self-defense what he did!” *

  1. I remember being bullied very severely when I was in middle school.
I was in Korea, and had just moved from the US because of my father’s occupation.
Not only did the students called me a “Yankee”, they also called me “Traitor” for being more American than Korean despite having Korean parents, and told me constantly I deserved to die.
I was in fights constantly. There was absolutely no one on my side. Even the teachers turned their eyes away and pretended not to know, because my father was a local big shot and they didn’t want to get in trouble.
I was completely miserable, and I was begging my parents to move back, or at least let me go back.

The situation was resolved when I finally snapped after 3 kids tried to jump me after school. I lucked out because a teacher going home just happened to pass by at that exact moment and I called to him for help. The next morning, I walked in the classroom, grabbed a chair, and swung full force at the leader of the pack and cracked his skull. Being young and unable to fully control my emotions, I fully intended to kill him at that point in time. I would have loved to just wail on him until he died, but I only got a few more swings in before I got overpowered.

The asshole went off to the hospital, I went off to the local police station where my short stay was actually pretty comfortable since the chief was my dad’s high school buddy, and my dad basically blew his gasket and called the principle, threatening to get him and all the teachers fired, and to fire and/or reprimand the parents of every single kid who went to my school that worked for the company if this ever happened again.

Nobody messed with me again after that because A) They knew I sucked at fighting and would therefore employ any measure necessary to protect myself, and B) My dad would definitely either fire their parents, or if they didn’t work directly for my father, make sure they got fired through pressure.

No one should ever, EVER have to go to those lengths just to not be bullied. And I am one of the lucky ones who got off easy, thanks to having parents with authority. There are many, many more people who spend their school years completely miserable because of fucktards who think it’s fun to be bullies.

So do I condone this behavior? No.
But did the kid have any other choice? Probably not.
School officials never do jack shit.
Police don’t do jack shit, if they don’t laugh in your face.
The victim is usually left to handle things on their own, and this kid handled it.
He did what he had to do.
The kid should be placed in Juvi for 4 years, receiving therapeutic services for the psychological wounds inflicted upon him from the bullying, and all the school’s teachers and administrative officials who knew about this should be severely reprimanded and/or fired for allowing this to happen.
