“Dave Brat, fresh off his stunning primary victory against House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, is still in party mode.
After being hit with a number of policy questions by Chuck Todd during an appearance on MSNBC on Wednesday morning, the Republican nominee from Virginia’s 7th district declined to take a stand on a couple of issues, begged off further policy discussion on live TV, and said there would be time for that later.
“Hey Chuck, I thought we were just going to chat about the celebratory aspect,” Brat said in a friendly ribbing to the host after Todd ask for his positions on the minimum wage, Syrian rebels, immmigration and more.”* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.
