‘Suspended Animation’ is a concept you don’t hear much about outside of sci-fi concepts, but trials are about to begin in actuality. The new technique will take place at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but its not for space travel, but to buy doctors more time to save lives.
