The Los Angeles Kings ousted the reigning champion Chicago Blackhawks in overtime last night setting the stage for a coast-to-coast Stanley Cup Final. The Kings, who refuse to lose, who have played a total of 21 out of the possible 21 games in the Cup Playoffs so far, will host the New York Rangers in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals Wednesday night at the Staples Center. King Henrik vs. Jonathan Quick, Gaborik returning to Madison Square Garden next week and the high intensity should make this one of the best Stanley Cup Finals in history. This series also marks the first time since 1981 that New York and Los Angeles are meeting with a championship on the line since the Dodgers and Yankees battled it out in 1981.
