Mad Men returns with season 7, episode 6, “The Strategy.” The terminally lonely Don, Peggy and Pete ironically get to work at the family restaurant, Burger Chef, and as history has shown, are destined to fail. A lesson in families and ideal family life is explored, though may or may not have a happy resolution. Megan and Don’s relationship looks like its reaching its breaking point; is there any way they’ll survive as a couple, no matter how Don acts? Bob Benson has a hard time with homophobia and must also work to stay afloat, asking for Joan’s help. Bringing the theme around, Joan also has issues with finding the idea of “family” and comes to her own conclusions. What awaits us in the last episode of this half of the season?
