“If a video of women riding a sex toy in public were just a stunt to encourage participants to own their sexuality, we’d watch, turn a little red, share with friends (probably not directly to Facebook) and move on.
But this hyper-sexual stunt waged by Simple Pickup — an all-male group that advises men on topics such as how to pick up women when you’re high — tried incorporating a devastating human rights issue into the film, and it fell predictably flat.”* The Young Turks hosts Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian break it down.

Wrong choice of words. You guys weren’t shiting on them
Once again, another comment video. If you guys actually did any sort of investigative journalism. you would have seen the video where they give $14,000 to a single mother with breast cancer because the Breast Cancer Society would not accept their donation. The money that they gave to this single mother of 2, was raised by one of these videos that you find offensive for some reason. How many videos have you guys made were you discussed how sex should not be taboo? Then you shit on these guys, who simply asked if these women if they wanted to ride a sybian for charity, the women say yes, the guys donate to charity, and somehow there is a huge problem with this.
Sure its crass, but damn, pop music exists, whats wrong with 1 single video of consenting adults raising money for charity. Everyone was having a good time, and it did raise a lot of awareness for The Orchid project. The overall vibe from the video is very much, hey we realise this is crass, but fuck it lets have a good time and raise some money!
