Princeton freshman Tal Fortgang is refusing to check is white privilege at the door. And why should he? The oppressive culture of equality, inclusiveness, and societal awareness has gone way too far in discriminating against the repressed, white male. Tal Fortgang is practically the Rosa Parks of rich white dudes. Somebody get this guy a Nobel Prize. Tweet: http://ctt.ec/Q8H67

My school offers a nice program for freshman called CAP. I’m not sure what it stands for anymore, but it’s basically a learning community that pairs up English courses that are themed with other courses. For example, freshmen can take a composition course that centers around first amendment issues and take a world’s religions course and other themed learning communities. Anyway, my school was (and remains) impacted and therefore the only way assuredly get classes is by joining the Honors program (if one qualifies) or to join programs like CAP. My girlfriend (who is Costa Rican, but looks white) and I received letters that said that according to our placement test score we both were eligible to join CAP. My girlfriend literally goes to the campus and registerss the next day. She asks how much room was left, and the woman she spoke to said that there should be plenty of room, but that anyone who wants to join to sign up within the week: it was only Tuesday. I go the next morning and ask about signing up. The same women my girlfriend talked to was like, “Um (as if wrestling with whether she should allow me to join), there isn’t anymore room. The program is unfortunately full.” However, I had called the day before after my girlfriend came back, and I also found out that there was wait list students could sign up for if the program was full. I told I had called and that I was told that there was room, I told her what my girlfriend was told, and I finally asked that if the program was full if I could sign up on the wait list. She blatantly looks at me with a straight face and says the wait list is full. I am Mexican American, light skinned and I stupidly (apparently) wore a blank white shirt, a beanie, and a mustache. I think that the woman was fucking racists who only favored those who looked white!
I watched the whole thing and am a little disappointed in myself because though I’m a well read woman with a large vocabulary, the only adjectives I can assign this juvenile elitist idiot all refer to feminine hygiene products.
Don’t be disappointed with yourself. I too have a large vocabulary and am well-educated (masters degree), and all I could come up with involved body parts, bodily functions, or (as with you) feminine hygiene products. lol It’s not just you!
