It is Star Wars week, so we have a special guest on today- Fon Davis! He did visual effects and model making for Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace , Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, and the special editions for Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi. But Fon isn’t limited to Star Wars- he has worked on a huge number of other major films as well!

Now he is working as the Creative Director for New Deal Studios and as an instructor at the Stan Winston School of special effects. What’s it like these days to work as a VFX artist?
