In short: It was a shitstorm of anecdotal evidence passed as fact, myths that never seem to die, and causal fallacies that would make your grade school teacher cringe — all tossed about by a roster of third-rate cable news pundits and professional attention-seekers. There were also a handful of sensible panelists (including our own Noah Rothman), and they clearly won the evening. One of the reporters asked which party was going to jump on the “lets legalize pot” bandwagon…Hasn’t anybody heard of the Libertarian party, I mean we are the third largest political party in the country. We Libertarians have been on top of drug legalization since the party was founded in 1971.
