As April 15 approaches, more Americans are discussing the possibility of “tax choice,” the notion that taxpayers themselves should have more say in how the government directs their tax dollars.
Would this be a more effective and democratic means of allocating the funds the government takes in, or would it merely exacerbate existing problems with spending (waste, fraud, warmongering, etc.)?
