Fred Phelps was the founder of the homophobic and hateful Westboro Baptist Church, famous for picketing funerals of celebrities and boasting signs that read “God Hates Fags.”

Following Phelps’ death, a counter-protest to the Westboro picket of a Lorde concert carried signs that simply read “sorry for your loss.” Ana and Dave discuss whether or not we should celebrate the death of Fred Phelps.
