Oh *please*, the problem with this has NOTHING to do with gun rights. It’s about *consumer* rights. The gun is fine, making this technology mandatory is not. I’d be up in arms (lol) if they tried to do this with laptop computers too. I’m sure the record industry would LOVE to do this with CDs — you load a friend a CD, you gotta loan him the watch too, and without that watch you can no longer play any of the other CDs you own.

Oh please!? CD’s have various uses. Guns have only one. It’s not even close to being the same thing.
