After being involved in professional basketball for 50 years and serving as commissioner of the NBA for 30 years, David Stern had a lasting impact as we know it and changed the landscape in professional sports. Whether it was the so-called “rigged” NBA Draft when the Knicks drafted Patrick Ewing, outlawing the hip-hop culture clothing or marketing the NBA to heights we have never seen, Stern deserves much credit, and criticism.
