The Czech Republic’s Sarka Pancochova was competing in the Slopestyle finals in Sochi’s Winter Olympics. She was leading after her first run, but unfortunately her next would be devastating to her hopes of medaling. Going off the ramp Pancochova got big air, but could not keep her balance and fell hard, smashing her head on the snow. She would break her helmet, but amazingly, finish the race.
