OK, so I think you are correct AnaK, there was no real debate….both parties were totally arguing not different views on a point, but arguing different points. So here is my question to Mr. Ham and another to Mr. Ney. To Mr. ham, Time, does the universe get created based on terrestrial time (ie the 24 hour clock), or; as the band ‘They Might Be Giants’ put it, does Gods watch have and “Eon Hand and a Millenium hand”? Maybe the whole thing was created in 6000 years, but define “Year”, that may help your argument. And to BillN, as I write this I sit as a fleshy bag of water, carbon and various other salts and trace elements, but I am aware, I have loved, I have memories and accumulated knowledge….I have two children and a really cool wife. If I can have that awareness, why not a larger body like the earth, or the solar system or the entire universe? Can they be conscious as well? And what would you name that person?
