Cenk hosting today. A District judge has ruled that the NSA spying program violates the 4th Amendment. A 60 Min report found that some members of the NSA believe the information Snowden has is so important that we should consider granting him amnesty if we can recover it. Gen Keith Alexander disagrees with amnesty, comparing it to giving a kidnapper that has killed 10 hostages full amnesty. The full 60 Min report made sure to allow the NSA plenty of time to shape the argument any way they want to. The reporter that did the puff piece with the NSA is a former staff member of FISA and now ready to move on to be the counter-terrorism official for the NYPD. His desire to make the surveillance world look good is obvious.
