South Korea (of all places) is home to staunchly anti-gaming politicians. Right now, the conservative Saenuri party is pushing an addiction bill that will “save their society from these evils” consisting of drugs, alcohol, gambling, and internet gaming. This is by far not the first anti-gaming initiative to be enacted in South Korea. Will this bill fly? Is it necessary? Or is it over-correcting and over-reacting to a problem?
