Whether you’re liberal, conservative, or completely apathetic you can probably agree that the Healthcare.gov launch was BAD. But what happened? President Obama is well-known for his “web-savvy” team– why was his namesake initiative so poorly equipped to handle even 500 registrants? Most websites built for the public can handle an influx bigger than that. Why did this happen?
We can talk about one reason. Two words (with hyphenation): No-bid Contracts.
