Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart has bristled at suggestions that his criticism of the Affordable Care Act rollout is indicative of something ominous for the Obama Administration. In the past, Stewart has argued that he’s “just a comedian,” and as such should not be considered a major influencer over the public discourse. Others, like Howard Kurtz, balk at the notion and feel that it means something when a liberal like Jon Stewart directs his barbs at Democrats rather than Republicans.
