Cenk hosting today.  The whistleblower who exposed the NSA probes has been identified from an interview he did about the spying.  Polls show that a slight majority of Americans find the NSA probing acceptable.  Acceptance of privacy switched among Dems and Repubs between Obama doing and Bush doing it.  The Establishment in Washington and their supporters came after Snowden in full force.  Col Ralph Peters thinks the death penalty should be brought back for Snowden.  Robert Baer, former CIA officer talked about how Snowden and China may be working together in an espionage case.  Jeffrey Toobin of CNN severely criticized and pushed aside the information leaked by Snowden.  Former Atty Gen Michael Mukasey railed on Snowden, calling him a betrayer.  Rep Mike Rogers also believes that Snowden should be prosecuted and that Greenwald has no clue how things work.  Alan Dershowitz also told CNN that talk radio and Greenwald foment a paranoid streak in America.

Rand Paul came out in opposition to the NSA program and Cenk thinks Liberals should join him in the fight even though he’s wrong most of the time.  Facebook, Google, Apple, Yahoo, and many others participated in the probe of Americans’ information despite their claims that they didn’t.  The program PRISM is bigger than what Cheney and Rumsfeld created.
