Cenk and Ben hosting. Job numbers have grown and the unemployment rate dropped below 8%, causing Republicans to claim that the Bureau of Labor & Statistics cooked the numbers to favor Obama. Jack Welsh and nearly all of Fox News jumped on this conspiracy theory. Poll numbers say that Obama gained independent voters after being weaksauce in the debate.

Segment 2
Ben’s updates on the talking point that the BLS cooked the unemployment numbers. The media can’t wait to paint Obama’s statements as false, but are quick to ignore Romney’s obvious lies. Videos of CNN calling Obama’s $5 trillion tax cut claim false based on Romney’s promise not to do so. Video of Romney telling Hannity that his 47% remark was wrong and that he cares about the 100%. The NYT’s hypothesis behind why Obama performed badly at the debate based on what Obama’s advisors leaked to them. When Obama let Romney off the hook with social security, the Romney campaign celebrated.
