Ana joins Cenk for SCS.  Controversy around Rolling Stone’s cover that makes Dzhokhar Tsarnaev look like a rockstar.  List of 8 other controversial magazine covers.  Britain has legalized gay marriage.  A gay activist was tortured and murdered in Cameroon over the weekend.

 

Segment 2

Julia Roberts’ niece was arrested for beating her boyfriend in a domestic violence dispute.  Discussion of whether or not men are less of a man if they call authorities if they are beaten by their woman.  The Vatican offered 7 years less time in purgatory if people follow the Pope on Twitter.  A man that is addicted to porn is blaming Apple company, so he wants them to implement a multi-layered admission process to access it.

 

Segment 3

A Texas restaurant known as “Redneck Heaven” is under fire for their waitresses’ scantily clad outfits.  An artist created a video that shows what the West Coast of the country would look like in 300 years of rising waters due to climate change.

  1. With regard to Michael Hasting’s death, and having seen the video of his car exploding, can we not say one of two things for sure:

    1. The Mercedes C250 is a mid-size sports sedan capable of violently exploding on impact, incinerating your loved ones inside.

    OR

    2. Something other than the Mercedes C250 did the exploding.

  6. Ana are you serious? You can not say you shoot up somebody? You can wish someone to die in anger? You can not make a joke about something like this? Yes if you think this a real threat, investigate him, but if there is an explanation for this, leave him alone and charge a small “slap on the wrist” fine. Where the hell is your problem with free speech in the US? These are the small things where it all starts.

  7. There was a new article about Hastings, saying he was worried his car was tampered with, frequently borrowing his friends’ car and afraid to drive his own.
