  2. Cenk, the Rams were playing in Anaheim when I was introduced to football as a kid. I made a lot of money betting against the Rams with the adults in my life at that time. I didn’t miss them when they headed to St. Louis.

    They’re back, the Chargers aren’t in San Diego, L.A. has 2 teams, the Raiders are planning to leave, and the 49ers aren’t in SF anymore. Football drama.

    And the state I live in now doesn’t have an NFL team, or a major league baseball team, for that matter.

  4. I too was a nerd in the gym and had tiny writing and detailed workouts in my notebook–it makes a huge difference to track your progress. Anything that helps with motivation is positive, but it has many functions. I think John is right too; it is easier to get back into shape if you have spent long periods of your life working out. Lately I have just been clearing vegetation like Dubya or digging giant rocks out of the ground.

  6. Cenk, you are wrong about how Trump gets removed. They don’t go to to Ryan and McConnell, they go after Trump Jr. and Kushner. They tell Trump, your name sake, and your daughter’s husband are going to jail for the rest of their lives, but if you resign we will grant them leniency.

    My scenario allows the republicans to preserve their ‘honor’ and preserve the ‘sanctity’ of a republican presidency. It also means that Trump and all his heirs preserve their freedoms and abilities to raise money in the future, but it doesn’t mean that they can’t be prosecuted for violations of the emoluments clauses. This will bankrupt the Trump companies and foundations, but if managed correctly (cough, cough) allow them to rebound into profitable ventures in the future. This scenario also protects future Democratic presidents from being prosecuted in similar procedings, and let us be honest, that is the #1 worry about impeachment that the Democratic Party has in regards to impeaching Trump. Their hesitation in impeachment is not about mid-term votes, their hesitation is the same reason why Obama said, “We don’t look backward, we look forward,” when questioned about bringing charges against Bush. Every president since Carter has been involved in war crimes, and if we set a precedent to charge and criminalize actions taken by our presidents, we risk bringing down our entire republic as we know it.

      But somebody made the “clinical” case on TV that he might not care who goes to jail if he is the one that doesn’t.

  7. Cenk, you are on crack. Anyone serious about working out brings a notebook. I have recorded every single work out since I graduated college (20 years ago). Why? Because I joined a real sports team, a rugby team.
