  4. Wow. Ana looks so pretty with blonde hair swept to one side, that I finally understand the phrase “I can’t even.” Used in a sentence: “I can’t even” believe Ana turned from “reasonably attractive” to unreasonably attractive.

  9. Hey Ana, I can’t help you with a visa, but should you ever want to visit Denmark, I’ll gladly play the role of tour guide. Don’t believe the standard American conception of the climate, either, we’re the southernmost of the Scandinavian countries, it really isn’t that cold here (though compared to California it might be).

    By the way, 50 K is about average for a Danish carpenter, so yeah… it’s almost like Social Democracy works. The founder of LEGO, coincidentally, was also a carpenter, so there’s good career potential. ;)

  11. My dad was 3 when the Americans came to Germany. Now hes quite old XD and he still talks super nice about you guys. And you know why? Because the soldiers were nice ppl. They gave some of their chocolate or bubblegums to the kids or the kids sold them cigarettes they found (yes crazy times :D). The Americans treated everybody as a human and weren’t afraid of “contact”. Even my grandma (now 103) said, her flat should have become an Army facility, but the Americans saw she is a single mother and wouldn’t have a way to get another place to sleep.
    Sadly I’m not too sure how the middle east kids will talk about Americans in the future. -_-

  14. When is Cenk going to get educated about the marshal plan? He has learned about it through jingoistic propaganda. It wasn’t a plan in the name of altruism by any stretch of the imagination, it was an imperialist extortion by the US to impose their political interests on the war-torn and weakened europe. As the richest western country privileged enough not to have suffered in the war, the US used it’s position to repress political movements that were not in the interest of the US. Please stop praising it with such a lack of nuance. Peace!

    1. true, they just wanted to have a stornghold in central europe against communism. Maybe some of them also wanted to help and gain an ally. Mostly the first one though i m sure.

  15. I’ve put a lot of thought to why Rumsfeld didn’t give permission to surround Bin Laden at the time: it would have stop the war too soon. No more excuses for Halliburton to be in Iraq, no money for Cheney. They let him go so they could be there for years to come…

  18. I’ve been listening to just audio of all the shows for months, since my job has kept me from watching live. Always confused when they say that we NOW can download just the audio versions… finally today I went looking for the new shows from tyt/audio, what’s with the iTunes crap? I dont iAnything, but that’s the only way to listen to new shows is to sign my life away to apple. So sick of companies and industries catering to one brand, and leaving people who like the open freedom of not using iShit stuff out in the dark. Please tell me how I can download the new shows as easily as I do this one.

  26. What are you talking about ana? If your not a 7 or above you arent getting a lot of matches. If your a 4 (and I’m being generous) like me then you arent even matching with other 4’s. If you’re getting matches at all then you’re matching with 2’s maybe 3’s, and I hate to break it to you but guys wont date down only up or across. I’m not only talking looks with these ratings. If it was based on looks I’d be a 3.

  29. When I was young I always got scolded in my elementary school because I couldn’t properly pronounce shoulder and always pronounced it as soldier with a hard j sound in it [sold-jer]. All that scolding never paid off, still can’t pronounce either properly no matter how hard I try.

    Also, RE: that fucked up Tinder stunt:
    She started out by saying half were in relationships, so they should leave right away, then if they were named Jimmie, had a beer belly, or had a beard they should go. If their last relationship the girl broke up with them, she trusted their judgement and the guy should leave. etc etc etc
    At some point she had a sprinting contest. SHE HAD A FUCKING SPRINTING CONTEST.
    Still don’t know who is more ridiculous and stupid– the woman who did this narcissistic stunt or the idiots that kept participating. LOL
