    If you care about any viewer’s take, I’ll chime-in. Unless this is your natural color, and you’ve been coloring it all this time, I will just say this: I liked the natural color better.

Regarding Robert Reich on the Article V convention: Why is it that they’re desperately afraid that such a convention could get “hijacked,” but yet the United States Congress, which HAS power to amend the US Constitution normally and meets ALL THE TIME, and that doesn’t seem to worry them at all?

    The U.S. Congress is trusted with that same power Robert Reich and those who agree with him on this are PISSING themselves with fear over being handed to people who are elected by the people, JUST THE SAME WAY CONGRESS IS. Why does Reich (et al.) trust regular bozos elected by the American people to Congress, like Ted Cruz* or Louie Gohmert, or James Inhofe, yet he doesn’t trust ones CHOSEN by those same people, (state governments,) to choose a group of people to do the job Congress is PLAINLY REFUSING TO DO, (while being paid to do it, which to my way of thinking, constitutes fraud)?

    Let’s understand what’s happening here. An Article V convention, if called, would cause a group of people chosen by the individual state governments, as representatives of the people, to get together, (or congregate, if you will,) and debate, draft, and ultimately propose an amendment, which would still need to be ratified by the individual state governments, or conventions called within the states to get around THEIR state governments, if they stop functioning properly, which would STOP anything that was the result of this so-called “hijacking”.

    In essence, the applicable provisions of Article V of the United States Constitution allows for the PEOPLE of “the several states” to form a TEMPORARY, EMERGENCY-BACKUP, SPECIAL-PURPOSE/SINGLE-USE, AUXILIARY CONGRESS to be formed, to amend the constitution should it come to pass that the REGULAR one gets all messed up and/or corrupted, and/or useless… AS. OURS. HAS.

    It further seems to allow, (and I’m no Supreme Court Justice, or other constitutional scholar, but,) for the formation of conventions within the states, OF the people, in the event the individual government of one or more individual states becomes similarly unresponsive to the will and needs of the people. Maybe I’m misreading it, but, that’s what it appears to be saying.

    Robert Reich’s argument is, IN ESSENCE, that WE SHOULD NEVER break the glass, NEVER resort to whipping out (or creating) the BACKUP CONGRESS as is our RIGHT, and I would argue, OUR RESPONSIBILITY, as American CITIZENS, under Article V, no matter how corrupt, bought, and captured the main, actual Congress is, because… OH, GOD, OH CHRIST ALMIGHTY IN HEAVEN, they might just FIX something!!! We just can’t have that!

    Either Reich is losing his mind, or he didn’t have that much of one to begin with, or maybe “they” got to him, and convinced him to say these things he’s saying. Has some member of his family been kidnapped, perhaps? Are there compromising photos of him in possession of the oligarchs here? It does make me wonder. Note that I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt and refraining from speculating that he just decided he wanted to buy a yacht or something. Hopefully it’s not something like that, as that would be truly disappointing.

    *(Congress (in the case of the US federal government,) comprises the Senate PLUS the House of Representatives, hence, they’re ALL members of Congress.)

  3. People who are commenting on Ana’s hair are absurdly rude, who cares, I’m here for news I don’t care if Ana’s hair is purple, green, blue or shaved off completely. If you want to post about Ana’s looks post a link to a picture of yourself, so we can comment on your ugly mug, smh.

  6. Alex Jones needs to be in an institution or prison – that much anger, even when you think you’re faking it, requires real emotion. Those emotions lead to decisions and God help us all when it does with him. AND that nutcase should have NO contact with his children until they are adults and can decide for themselves – period. He’s DANGEROUS.

    But I have no sympathy for dumb-ass minorities who support republicans/Trump who then get beaten up by their own party members. Maybe it will be a wake-up call to this dude that republicans will never accept or defend him. He’s NOT a good guy if he voted for Trump.

  7. Stop saying that not all Trump voters are racists; they all are to lesser or greater degrees. A model of prejudice/discrimination has been around for many years. I don’t remember in which textbook I found the model, but I’ve had this information for around 15 years. Note: the model applies specifically to racism but can be applied to any other “ism”.
    The major points, to take from applying this model to Trump voters vs. voters for the other major presidential candidates, are that:
    (a) categories 1, 2, and 3 are likely found among voters for Clinton, Stein, and Johnson, but it is highly unlikely that persons in category 4 would support and vote for those candidates; and
    (b) categories 2, 3, and 4 will compose the group of Trump voters, but persons in category 1 would be too repulsed to ever support and vote for Trump.
    The conclusion is that yes, Trump voters are racists. Not all Trump voters may be consciously aware that they are racists, but, nevertheless, they are all racists to some degree.
    Four Categories of Prejudice/Discrimination:
    1. Unprejudiced Nondiscriminator (person is not prejudiced and will not discriminate against other groups);

    2. Unprejudiced Discriminator (person is a “convenient” discriminator; not personally prejudiced but, at times, discriminates against other groups because it’s socially or financially convenient to do so);

    3. Prejudiced Nondiscriminator (person is a “covert” discriminator; feels hostile toward other groups, but opposed to overt discrimination due to laws and social pressure);

    4. Prejudiced Discriminator (person is an “overt” discriminator; does not believe in the values of freedom and equality; will, perhaps even consistently, discriminate against other groups in both word and deed).

    1. But evilkitty (love your handle, BTW!), what if all the Trump supporters just have an Ambien problem? ;-)

    2. I think what Cenk is saying is that they are not all informed. It’s like how before there was video, eg Rodney King, people were surprised that cops would harass or beat up black people. Most people aren’t looking for information, just trying to get through their lives. Further, it’s not unheard of for people to switch categories, say from a 2 to a 1. All but 4’s don’t want to be told they’re racist and generally act negatively and defensively if accused.

  8. Don’t equate 9/11 to sandy hook please!!!!!!! 9/11 being a set up has very compelling evidence on its side….. I’m not saying it’s for sure but there’s tons of evidence like jet fuel burning steel beams but not the terrorists passports, the buildings imploding in a way that is only possible with a controlled demolition, bush doing nothing to prevent it even though he supposedly had intelligence about it before hand, as well as a award winning documentary by Michael Moore with loads and loads of evidence and legit questions……. sandy hook crisis actors don’t have a documentary, they have zero evidence to support it, and not a single claim as to why they think it’s fake that makes any sense whatsoever……… ones possible ones literally impossible

  11. Just a second. Was Maxine Waters encouraging the harassment of Trump administration officials? She did not encourage violence, but you characterized his transgression as “harassment”. His may have been beyond harassment.
