Regarding the drugged up kids, when I first heard about kids being separated from their parents and detained, my immediate thought was that they would be drugged up to their eyeballs. That’s because of my experience with the American foster system, where the same abuse occurs. Those are children whose parents have relinquished parental rights, and now they are in the care of the state. Those kids are acting out and are often difficult to control.
When they are not in a family, they will be in closed facilities, allowed outside only for short periods of the day, receive very little schooling, and are mostly expected to sit in front of a TV all day. Some of them go ballistic, attack their caregivers, defecate around the facility, and so on. It is illegal to lock them up or put them in cages, like people probably did in the old days. Today they are controlled with drugs. As long as the facility’s doctor prescribes it, they can be legally sedated with drugs like Seroquel, which has only ever been tested on adults, and is not FDA approved for minors. I know of an 8 year old girl on 800mg of Seroquel per day plus other sedatives. 800mg is the maximum dose of Seroquel tested on adults, and many adults suffer serious side effects and withdrawal symptoms after taking 50mg per day. The kids lose privileges – like going outside at all – if they do not take the drugs.
Even when they are in a family, they are required to continue taking the drugs. There is no easy solution to the problem of caring for these kids, but drugging them up is totally inappropriate. There is no way of telling what these drugs do to the developing brain, and what the long term effects will be.
As always, the problem is money. There is not enough staff to allow sufficient supervised time outside and other activities to keep the kids busy and stable. The facilities receive around $600 per day per child from the state, but the money goes into the pockets of private owners, who hire untrained staff like students to supervise the kids, especially in the weekends. These people are totally overwhelmed with the task.
This would be a great project for a TYT investigative reporter – and something separate from Trump for a change.
Rudy G, an alleged “lawyer” could not find anything stating collusion is illegal. Took me 30 seconds using Google and Wikipedia.
Driving isn’t illegal either. Unless it is a get away car or a drive by shooting.
As a teenager bought the mission impossible soundtrack album (on vinyl). . I checked, and it is on you tube if you type in Lalo Schifrin Mission Impossible. Lalo Schifrin was the orchestra conductor.
Cenk and the ‘Despicable Pricks’. Sounds like a Punk band.
The 3D printed gun template files is a non-issue. I, an engineer fresh out of college, could create those blueprints in a couple of hours, let alone the tens of thousands of engineer who actually design weapons for a living. Digital files already exist for the parts of every real gun; the only difference is they are used to machine the parts out of metal instead of to 3D print them. The fact that so much debate is going into whether the files should be distributed just shows the lack of knowledge of how easy they are to create. Anyone who knows an engineer and has about $250 to purchase a printer can make one of these within a week. It needs to be illegal to own an unregistered weapon.
This. TYT often doesn’t really grasp the tech side of a story.
I don’t think we can roll back information in terms of 3d printed guns. Thankfully, it’s still fairly cost/technology prohibitive to individually go through the process of printing guns, but I’m worried about people mass printing them and selling them as individual gun sales.
There is no crime called pussy grabbing.
There is a crime called sexual assault.
Is Mueller & Co. stalling until after the midterms?
It seems pretty obvious that Trump has been involved in some form of money laundering shenanigans in exchange for loans/money to keep his failing life afloat.
You have Cohen & Gang who have flipped. Everything points towards Trump being the rotten head on this fish. I’m not really buying the “Russia stole the election” bullshit, but money laundering & bribes from Russia? Absolutely! So why is Mueller dragging his feet?
I’m wondering if Mueller is trying to stall to protect Republican candidates, or if it’s a more establishment reason. He doesn’t want the investigation to even hint that US elections are fraudulent or that the unwashed masses voting is not secure.
That would be disastrous for Republicans AND DNC-Clintoncrats! That would shatter the illusion that the citizens choose our politicians and not the Corporations, Big Donors & moneyed countries (Saudis, etc) who decide WHO voters get to choose from.
I’m just wondering why this is taking so long?
Mueller’s investigation is starting to feel like a giant set of shiny keys.
Do you want Mueller to release half-cocked results or do you want a thorough investigation with near air tight conclusions? There is only one shot at this. To quote a classic line, “When you come at the king, you best not miss.”
Well, I hope y’all are right!
With Giuliani as his lawyer, they both continue to incriminate themselves! By not stepping in right away, Mueller’s giving Trump the rope to hang himself. I’m just waiting for when Trump admits he did collude.
Hey how is the war on porn going in Utah? Any members in UT with news? They declared it a public health crisis some months back didn’t they?
I’m in UT. They did declare it a public health crisis a while back but there hasn’t been any noticeable changes. As a state led by a Mormon majority, we’ve always had pretty archaic rules when it comes to porn and “decency”. For Example, in other states, you are/were able to buy Porn Mags in Gas Stations. In Utah, that’s never been the case in the 30 years I’ve lived here. Video Stores (when they existed) were never allowed to rent porn either. There are “Sex shops” where you have to go to buy anything like that, and even then, all non-clothing is usually in a seperate part of the store, and you have to show ID to enter it. So to answer your question, I’m not sure there’s much more they could do that they haven’t already done as far as actual porn is concerned.
Thank you for the response, that was very interesting :-)
Ana is wearing her pajamas again.
Tucker’s a fucking tool!!!!!
Tuck the cuck
LOL thats awesome! am mad I didnt think of it first!
My favorite is still “Cucker Tarlson”.
Hey, if I had a magic wand, I’d take over the major networks and replace their evening news half hours with any random half hour of any Cenk/Anna newscast. I would dearly love to see the reactions of the political class- not to mention Trump.

With Trump being such good friends with a known child trafficker…that is at least one possible reason to keep children and lose their parents. I mean they have gone out of their way to deport all kinds of folks…why keep and sneak these kids about the country? Pedophiles are all over the country and throughout the world. The footage of Trump getting off the helicopter this last weekend, after being so upset last week (when is he not)why would the only other passenger be a little girl? Grand daughter or not why give any kid to an angry person, let alone Trump.? He doesn’t have time for his own?
“The importance of oversight when giving psychotropic medications to children is well established,” the lawyers wrote. “Without it, the potential for abuse — including using drugs as ‘chemical straight-jackets’ to control children, rather than to treat actual mental health needs — is unacceptably high.”
Julio Z., another minor held at Shiloh, said he “never knew exactly what the pills were.” Court documents list Clonazepam, Divalproex, Duloxetine, Guanfacine, Latuda, Geodon, and Olanzapine among his medications.
U.S. District Judge Dolly Gee in Los Angeles ordered the Trump administration to obtain consent or a court order before administering any psychotropic medications to migrant children, except in cases of dire emergencies. She also ordered that the government move all children out of a Texas facility, Shiloh Residential Treatment Center in Manvel, except for children deemed by a licensed professional to pose a “risk of harm” to themselves or others.
“The staff threatened to throw me on the ground and force me to take the medication,” Julio Z testified. “I also saw staff throw another youth to the ground, pry his mouth open and force him to take the medicine. . . . They told me that if I did not take the medicine I could not leave, that the only way I could get out of Shiloh was if I took the pills.”
Lucas R., a 12-year-old boy from Guatemala who was detained in February, was transferred to Shiloh after he refused to take antidepressant Zoloft, which was causing him stomach pain, according to a separate court filing. Shiloh medical staff diagnosed Lucas with major depressive disorder and told him that officials would not release him until Shiloh medical personnel declared him psychologically sound.

These practices are surely reminiscent of practices in totalitarian countries under fascist suzerainty. When will we desist as ordered by this judge. Where are real penalties such as prison for government government or contractors in contempt of this order?
His depression was in large part triggered by “being kept from family,” who had entered the country before him, according to court documents.”
