  1. I think the “whatever she is” comment is a sexist comment on a woman not staying in her place. She can’t be a “girl” because girls are supposed to be lady-like and weak according to them. It’s a way to insult her for not being feminine enough for them and insult all women by stereotyping women as weak.

    Though I’m surprised you didn’t talk about the “scandal” over her mistakingly saying that unemployment is low because people work two jobs. Even politifact is getting in on the action. I think she made a mistake in her words (despite her intent being correct), but this is all the establishment dems needs to paint her as “young and inexperienced”. We gotta fight back

Maybe… A Corporate Democrat, for sure… Among his top legal bribers (er. campaign contributors) over the years include: NY Life Ins, Citi Group, Bank of America, JP Morgan, Goldman Sacs among others… A person, for sure, can’t be a true Progressive in New York without donations from these organizations…

  7. All of you know that if Hillary Clinton had mistakenly said “flip this state red” you and everyone at TYT (besides MAYBE Cenk) would cite that as proof that she was really a republican. I’m just saying, do any of you really deny that? Also AOC really looked bad in that interview segment that talked about Israel/Palestine, and if that had been a centrist you guys would all say it was her “Aleppo moment”. I think everyone, myself included is vulnerable to tribalism and maybe if we could all see that and take a step back we might come up with policies that make more sense. But that will never happen because it requires a “cease fire” and to progressives “truce” and “civility” and “compromise” are dirty words.

  12. I disagree with Cenk. Hillary Clinton proudly touted Henry Kissinger’s endorsement during the election. I think that turned off more of the left than it swayed the opinion of people on the right. We don’t need Bill Kristol, John Brennan, James Clapper, James Comey, etc. Malcolm Nance is another one I see on MSNBC all the time. He recently said that Glenn Greenwald’s skepticism regarding the Russian narrative is because he is a puppet of Putin. I’m speaking for myself here, but I think Glenn Greenwald is a pretty good journalist. He just wants proof. There is a point when someone should ask Glenn Greenwald about what would pass for acceptable proof in his mind. But- I’m not comfortable citing any of those people if I’m making an argument against Donald Trump. Donald Trump makes a pretty good argument against Donald Trump himself. And if the sensible middle can’t see that, are they really all that sensible?
