  1. Really poor display of basic knowledge in the 3d printed gun discussion, issues of the weapon itself aside (I’m from the UK I think legal firearms is utter insanity).

    Anarchism is a far-left philosophy and has little to do with Libertarianism which is far right. They hate soldiers and police more often than not and believe in equality so there’s no reason to think they’d not support Kappernik.

    The political spectrum is a square (not a line) with two axis,
    Authoritarianism (top) to Libertarism (bottom) and
    Liberalism (left) to Conservativism (right).

    So Communism is top left corner,
    Fascism is top right corner,
    Anarchism is bottom left corner and
    Libertarianism is bottom right corner.

    Anarchism espouses vigilante justice, direct action and oppses the concept of a state and it’s monopoly on force. So untraceable, democratized weaponry is exactly the kind of thing they’d love for all the obvious reasons.

    Yet you managed to not mention any of this.

    1. I was under the impression that there is both leftist and rightest forms of anarchism and libertarianism, libertarianism being the more regulated society. I don’t claim to be an expert, so this is not to correct you only to discuss. I do have friends in political theory that state this is what they were taught. Also there is Anarcho-communisim, since there are various forms of communisim. I’m personally confused about this particular category, but there is always more information.

  8. I think of Joe Lieberman as a Republican and from there all his actions make perfect sense. He was using a Dem place, like the IDF in NY. Now calls himself Independent, just to camouflage his Republican heart.

    I also just want to say that this was an awesome panel! Having Brett & Brooke really lightened things up a bit for me while Cenk and Ben made me feel very informed. TYT has AWESOME people!

  13. You guys really dropped the ball on the 3d printed gun story. The whole point is that it that it cannot be regulated. It is already out there. You can’t put the genii back in the bottle.

    1. That argument is similar to saying that you can’t regulate theft, because people are already doing it.

      Of course you can regulate and prohibit it.

      Punish it if people do it.

    2. You realize that’s the NRA’s point on any gun regulation right? So what you wanted them to go out and argue the NRA’s main talking point for them? No thank you
