    1. Same with me! I usually watch days later, so I don’t often comment. But I want a shot at a T-shirt!

  1. Whenever I hear the word jejune, I think of that Frasier episode where he’s trying to decide between two women he’s dating and one of them keeps using the word cute so Frasier’s thinking in his head “Everything is cute with her. Amy used the word jejune the other day.” He says it in a totally enamored voice.

  2. TYT should let the FPG run as long as they want when the three amigos are on. Don’t kick them out.

  3. FPG jumped the shark when Steve started winning WWN all the time. It was much more fun when Steve couldn’t buy a correct answer. Sad!

  4. And please tell me how you spell shajune? And what exactly it means since now I want to use it in real life.

    1. je·june
      jəˈjo͞on/
      adjective
      adjective: jejune

      1.
      naive, simplistic, and superficial.
“their entirely predictable and usually jejune opinions”
      2.
(of ideas or writings) dry and uninteresting.
“the poem seems to me rather jejune”

  5. Okay DAMNIT! You guys need to START with totally true/totally bullshit next time. It’s such a great segment and this episode was such a tease!

I always do terrible on WWN. Is it sad that the first time I hear about these stories is almost always on Friday Post Game?

Glad to have the three amigos back :)

  6. The early wrap ups for Friday Post Game are TOTALLY BULLSHIT!

Thanks for getting to at least one TTOTB!

    1. Agreed! We’re squeezing in to the Thursday studio schedule as it is. And I can’t complain to management because I know their response will be, “Wait, there’s a *Friday* postgame???” Needless to say, the #Proud19 does not include any of the TYT executives (besides Dave and Steve). It’s the least-known show on the network besides Reporting In!

      1. Which is a travesty! TYT executives apparently need to stop courting wall street money & wake the fuck up. Everyone should know about the best Post Game, the Friday Post Game!
in my not so humble opinion the top 3 TYT shows are Aggressive Progressives, Friday Post Game & Reporting In with Pop Trigger/Murder with Friends a very close 4th.

      2. Malcolm – WWN has gotten less fun when Steve started winning: gotta throw him for a loop, or start with TTOB!

  7. First, I got 5/5 on WWN! I’m so relieved to know that my previous win (after a short bout of poor performances made me question my entire existence) was not an aberration.

Also, I have been a fan of the word “jejune” for many years. Possibly decades. It’s a good word, especially if you’re debating with someone in person, where they can’t look something up without looking like an idiot, and you call their argument jejune in a way that is ambiguous. So they don’t know if you just complimented or insulted them. I’m jejune like that.

    1. Jejune is a great word that I’ve never heard before. It feels like one of those words that people would call you conceited for using. It’s too good not to use though.

  8. We didn’t get to hear about Lillehammer! You need to set aside 45 minutes for FPG. It always seems a bit rushed.

    1. “Lillehammer was the site of the Lillehammer affair in 1973, wherein operatives of the Israeli Mossad shot and killed a Moroccan waiter they mistakenly thought was Ali Hassan Salameh, who was involved in the Munich Massacre.”

  9. Here’s my ideal Friday post-game, for science: today’s date discussion, inside baseball, Dave’s graves, TTOB, and WWN

  10. Three points with regards to the story concerning Iraq protests. One is that Iran itself as one of the suppliers of Iraqi electricity, is facing shortages in its own country. Iran is experiencing the worst draught in the last century or so and its traditional partners from which it imported energy, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are also facing shortages in water. Therefore, Iran is cutting its export of electricity to Iraq to stabilise its own domestic need. Tehran as we speak is facing shortage in electricity.

Second point is that Iranian officials are attempting to show flexibility on demands vocalised by the public in various protests. People of Iran had occasionally frequented streets, demanding their government’s attention towards the local needs pf energy, health care and a better economy. By this, the Iranian government is signalling its people that it is paying attention to their demands.

Third point is that Iraqi officials are counting on Iranian decline of its oil exports due to sanctions. With Iran’s export downgrading to over a million barrels a day by the end of this year, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Russia will reap the benefits of Iran’s absence in the market. Therefore, by cutting its export of electricity to Iraq, Iran is already showing a hostile gesture towards the Iraqi government’s taking over of its place in the market. This is particularly true with regards to Turkey which will be importing its oil from Iraq rather than Iran after the imposition of sanctions.

      1. Geez, talk about a weird place for my comment to Paoley and shout out to Steve to fall…Steve I don’t think you’re a fascist, maybe a bit of a Pinko, but then, most of the BETTER- folks are :-)

    1. This seems like a nice place to say: I am NOT Steve,… but thanks for the shout out:-)
Also, Paoley, congratulations on the winning T!!!

  11. The pilot could have just as easily been doing anything else at all and accidentally hit the wrong switch. Personally, I am grateful for vapes entering the market when they did because I was able to switch over and finally quit cigarettes after 11 nasty years. Now it’s been five years since I quit smoking and three years since I quit nicotine all together. Smoking is much more offensive than vaping.
