  1. The same algorithms determining if we’re high risk for health insurance today, will be determining if we’re high-risk voters tomorrow, so they can gerrymander around us to avoid democracy.

And determining if we’re high-risk political dissidents that need to go to interment camps not so long after that, if the current trend at the border continues.

  2. Kyle hasn’t come around because Kyle will watch the world burn before he admits that he was wrong and that the establishment might have had a point.

  3. As a Patriots fan I am still mad at Putin for that. I mean Trump is supposed to be Kraft’s buddy, ask for it back. It’s literally the least Putin could do for everything Trump is doing for him.

  4. I feel like Putin talking to Wallace seems to be talking to the American people, rather than answering the question. He’s just like, hey America, do YOU think I could influence your decisions and your elections???

  5. Regarding “the nuclear”, I’m reminded of two stories. Last year Trump wanted to double our nuclear arsenal, not understanding it would cost trillions of dollars and violate our treaty with Russia. Speaking of the treaty, on one of the phone calls between Trump and Putin, Putin mentioned that they should start discussions about the follow on to the New START treaty, which expires in 2021. Trump had to put him on hold so he could ask his aides what a “START” treaty is. He is such a knucklehead.

  6. TYT, can you report on the action by Pussy Riot at the World Cup final? Not seeing anyone talk about it. Some info –
    Masha Gessen on the action
    https://www.newyorker.com/sporting-scene/replay/world-cup-2018-the-moral-clarity-of-pussy-riots-protest

Their own video with demands and clip of the action at the end
    https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=7zQGV7XBkLE

More info on the arrests and trials of all involved are on the Pussy Riot FB page. Would be so cool to see you report this and also hear your take.

    1. Well, the American MSM wouldn’t wish to bother Putin, when our Dear Leader was soon to meet with the Russian Federation President in Helsinki…

  7. So, is the soundboard gone ??? How many times has Cenk passed up the opportunity to play the ” I has it” clip regarding Putin and kompromat

  8. I love how TYT keeps it real regarding Trump/Russia. Am just not seeing the proper narratives on other news, just tons of disingenuous Trump apologism.

The entire medical insurance industry is crazy in the States. We need universal healthcare, a medicare for all!

  9. Don’t buy anything on line! Get out and interact with your fellow human beings. Feel the wind or the sun on your face. And, get some class, don’t go into a store, waste the employees time (time is money), and then buy the item on line because it’s “cheaper”. That’s beyond tacky, it’s a form of theft.

    1. Cool I’ve counted pennies before to be able to afford dinner but if I need to get something and it’s 20 bucks cheaper online ok I’ll go out “and feel the wind”

  10. Wait wait wait…. in the Chris Wallace interview, Putin asks haven’t Presidents been killed on US soil? That’s the truth! Trump is afraid Putin will have him killed! That’s Putin’s dog-whistle to Trump saying “don’t get any ideas or you’re dead”!

  11. In relation to the last story:
The GDPR requires that concent must be obtained “intelligible and easily accessible form” (https://www.eugdpr.org/gdpr-faqs.html), so, most
major sites have actually improved their ToS quite a bit. Sadly, I still wouldn’t count on most people reading them, though…

For sites that haven’t made their sites GDPR compliant (or have versions for US and EU customers), the site https://tosdr.org looks interesting.

  12. I love you guys, I love your shows, you saved my sanity … but I don’t know where else to complain about something that you probably would care to hear, because you don’t have — at least that I can tell — a way to email for support, comments or complaints. I’ve been a member for a month now and just learned from Cenk mentioning the link that there is a TYT Investigates page, but there is no way to find it from the home page. And I’m wondering what other great content I am missing out on. I sort of doubt you have enough staff to even monitor these comments, given all the errors with the website, but perhaps someone else can help.

    1. They might have red this because there is a TYT Investigates banner on the right side of the home page.

  13. LOL Yup, I’m a fat, depressed woman. I can’t wait till we have Medicare for all. I wish people didn’t have my info but with my husband being in the military for 22 years, I’m pretty sure the govt. knows everything about me and my family. We have Tricare, which is govt. healthcare. Yeah, they know everything.

  14. I believe Mike Wallace (RIP) would have been very proud of his son for that interview with Putin.

  15. Trump looks like he’s reading an apology letter that his mom made him write in front of his 3rd grade class. Classic. Lol.

  16. Donald Trump’s policy towards Russia is actually much better than the mainstream suggestion to the same topic. First of all, I believe we got to that appeasement policy because Vladmir Putin has compromissed material on Donald Trump. Trump is arguably the dumbest person alive. He does not think about policy. He plays for his base and do whatever the last person in the room says to him. Unless his personal interest is related to the issue. He enjoys to look tough. But he does not take a chance on critizing Vladmir Putin in any circumstances? I believe in Pee Pee Tape.

That said. The same intelligence agencies that are saying Russia meddled the american election said Iraq had WMD’s and Kennedy was killed by “a magic bullet”.

As an outsider who lives in a country in which US decides who can and cannot be president, I just don’t believe Russia could mess with the election over corporate America and the military industrial complex. The election was stolen, but, as usal, by republicans, like James Comey.
The election in 2000 was also stolen, remember? By the Supreme Court, including Justice Kennedy.

Even if Russia had hacked DNC, that’s not why Robert Muller is indicting russians. If saudis have done the same, or israelis, anyone thinks that mainstream media and the military industrial complex would be pointing to them? Nopes. They would be pointing to whoever they wanna attack. As they did when saudis provoked 9/11. So, it’s pretty obvious that mainstream media and the military industrial complex wants war with Russia. They don’t wanna solve climate change or the economic colapse. They wanna all power they can imagine. Extreme scenarios demands extreme measures.

    1. Let s not forget that Russia is not a threat to western europe or north america. They have been set upon most disgracefully by the U.S. and NATO. Locking them from further integration with europe and closer relations with my nation- canada, because the U.S wants full hegemonic control over the world. The Russian establishment simply wants make through neoliberalism and integration with the west, while the americans want to disintegrate and fragment russia to make them weaker, putting nazis and other extremists on their borders and openly mobilizing on their borders.

      1. In this case the russians have done the world a great favour by assisting a candidate who is less antagonistic and openly warlike against the border states.

        1. Are you insane? Do you even hear yourself? That’s absolute nonsense. Russia not a threat to Western Europe or North America? They’re less than 5 Kilometers from from one of our states (Alaska) and within striking distance of dozens of NATO-alliance nations. Beyond that, you’re entirely ignoring the fact that they (Russia) have been killing journalists, protestors, and LGBTQ people for the last 20 years. I can’t disagree that SOME PEOPLE in our government may want a Hegemonic rule over the world, but that’s not the entire US government and certainly not something the PEOPLE OF THE US WANT. To say that’s fact is so incredibly simplistic that I’d like to ask you to count to 10, just to make sure you’re able to do so. Also, putting nazi and extremists on their borders? What the HELL are you even talking about? There’s been NO talk about “Fragmenting” Russia. That’s a conspiracy theory. You’d do well to not believe conspiracy theories and instead look at facts and proof. NATO does things a certain way for a reason. Russia isn’t some sort of golden Eden where everyone loves everyone and love sprouts from the ground like summer grass. They’ve been sanctioned because of severe human rights abuses, military aggression, and siding with non-NATO nations over NATO alliance nations. (If a guy from a rival team in soccer keeps tripping up, manhandling, and illegally striking members of other soccer teams, why should we ignore that fact just so that we can be on the same field?) I’m all for Russia being our allies but not if it means we lose the allies we’ve had and enjoyed business with for the last 80 years. Your opinion lacks even the basest amount of validity or factual context. Your excusing the Russian government from meddling in another nation’s election is so incredibly wrong. It doesn’t MATTER who the winner of the election was. Even if Hillary won, the MEDDLING was the PROBLEM and has NOTHING to do with ANY policy that government has had with ANY OTHER nation. If Russia involved themselves in an election in Paraguay, there should be the same amount of outrage by every single person because it’s wrong.

          1. 1. They are not a threat, there is no realistic probability of Russians invading western europe or alaska, the economy cannot afford it, it would melt russia and would end in putin’s death from a palace coup.
2.Who’s fault is it that so many NATO countries are close to them? the damn gringos violated their agreement with Gorbachev to not expand into eastern europe, imagine if the americans had their client states turned into russian military assets increasingly closer to YOUR border. Russia is a nation that has it’s vitals outside it’s borders: Ukraine, georgia, chechnya are as economically vital to Russia as texas and california are to the U.S. Most of the technological advances were made in Ukraine and most of the conventional weapons that Russians used were made and shipped from Ukraine. To have an anti-russian ukraine would be a huge blow to russian economic prospects and national security, It is the largest trade lines of oil and gas from russia to europe.
            3. “SOME PEOPLE!? Every single U.S presidential candidate since the late 60’s has declared the U.S as the world guardian, the enforcer of the international order. every agency or assembly of the government is a proponent of the American empire. If they didn’t you’d see way more intergovernmental disputes and public disagreements. if they don’t agree then they are complicit cowards by cooperating with the imperial state.
            4. The euromaiden movement and the ukrainian revolution was funded and driven by the U.S. Euromaiden is an explicity fascist and adopts many racial philosophies of the nazis. The minister of the interior, the vice prime minister, the minister of agriculture and the former acting defence minister are part of that ethnic hatred movement. This has been well documented.
            5. Fragmentation is the MO of the U.S. to exploit nationalist and separatistic sentiments in states to create disunity and instability. In the middle east they raise tensions with sunnis and shias. https://countercurrents.org/2018/07/06/the-balkanization-of-south-america-and-the-role-of-fifth-columns-throughout-the-world/
            6. No one ever said Russia was a paradise, its a capitalist neoliberal nightmare but so is Israel, Saudi Arabia, Colombia, Afghanistan, Uganda, Qatar and the UAE. Five of these states are even worse then russia in terms of human rights and war crimes but the U.S still funds supports and trades with them, so clearly abuses of human rights aren’t a concern.
6 All of russia’s military aggression post 1991 has been in response to American aggressive expansion into the border states or stopping a chain of disintegration of eurasia. i.e chechen wars and georgia.
7 I don’t know if you know this or not but Russia is not part of NATO, and NATO keeps aggressively mobilizing on the border states, therefore why would Russia side with a hostile NATO over neutral and friendly states.
            8. OF COURSE it matters who the winner was and it matters who was being meddled with. The U.S has a tremendous level of power over the world, they dictate and we must follow, Their imperialist policy and love of war has repeatedly brought our world to the brink of annihilation, The U.S should be meddled with if the interference lowers that risk. Plus I want to be free from the american empire, they blackmail our governments with economic warfare, using their trade agreements and monetary policy to financialize our economies, ransack our national assets and keep us client states in eternal subservience. If a foreign state meddling can decrease U.S power and influence I’m all for it.

        2. Well, then, we are very lucky to have had Russia give us Trump! I can’t imagine how they managed it being so weak and victimized as they have been.

    2. I remember the Iraq WMDs differently… It was NOT the intelligence community who made that claim about Iraq having WMDs, it was the Bush administration.

In fact, a man named Joe Wilson, at the request of the CIA, investigated the yellow cake uranium sale and found it unreliable information or maybe outright fabricated (I don’t remember that detail), then Bush told us a lie about it, going so far as to out an undercover CIA operative and her cover company in order to discredit Joe Wilson, whose wife was the one outed. We were told the Bush administration, including the always lovely Dick Cheney, relied on some guy named “Curve ball” for their “intelligence.” What our intelligence community actually told Bush was that Bin Laden was determined to strike in the US, information he apparently ignored as there is no record of him calling even one meeting to address that identified threat.

I’m not arguing that we have always been the good guys in foreign relations, obviously far from it. I’m pointing out that you blaming the intelligence community for saying Iraq had WMDs is unreasonable. It was the last Republican administration that peddled that lie, along with ALL of our corporate run mainstream media.

      1. You’re so right.

I understand why this argument exists. It plants the seed of doubt. The government has lied before, why wouldn’t it lie again? On the surface it seems like solid reasoning.

But who did that government lie on behalf of? Are we to believe that the same agencies who lied on the behalf of the Republican Bush administration are now lying against the Republican Trump administration? That doesn’t add up to me.

Unrelated (I just don’t want to add another comment), Cenk and Ana had some astute observations about Trump’s body language. Did you guys just become dentists?
