  1. Octopuses are molluscs, like clams and snails. I’m pretty sure these are all from earth. I’m pretty sure the only scientists who believe they aren’t are the ones tabloids make up for inane headlines.

    Wow, thanks guys for putting my photo of the nemophila flowers, they were soooo beautiful against Malcolm’s outer shirt and also glorified Steve and Matt. The reflection of the flowers on the TYT desk was magnificent.

    If any of my fellow Proud Nineteen get the chance to see nemophila flowers in your home area or anywhere you are, please don’t pass it up or procrastinate. Go see them! They bloom in carpet fashion and are, in my opinion, the most beautiful blue flowers you’ll ever see. Each tiny blue flower amongst the billions reminds me of the strength in numbers of We the Democratic Progressive People.

    I loved the Hollywoodland sign image and anniversary story. I believe farmers with herds of goats were coming up and down underdeveloped streets less than 20 years before that sign went up. I heard that one could hear beautiful Mexican songs being played and sung as the sun went down all over what is now the city of Los Angeles, my birthplace.

    But Malcolm, what about the suicide of actress Peg Entwistle in 1932? She climbed up to the Hollywoodland sign late one night and jumped to her death from the ‘H.’ There is a society that keeps her memory alive every anniversary of her death by going up to the now Hollywood sign.

    Entwistle was mostly a Broadway actress who was on her way to great popularity. One film, Thirteen Women, was in production when she died. Many who know the history of the American movie industry in New York City and Los Angeles know of its gross, inhumane treatment of women, including immigrant women coming from ‘preferred’ countries like Entwistle’s birth country – England.

    For me, Peg Entwistle represents a very sad, first attempt to curb what has now become a Hollywood full of Weinsteins, Cosbys and Tarantinos. One of the origins of the #MeToo movement we know today.

    I didn’t hear a word about a Japanese version of the legendary OctoPaul from Germany who lived out his lucky oracle life in the Spain he predicted would win the World Cup in 2010. My super busy schedule during these past weeks is probably the reason, though I have been following the Cup and was thrilled when Japan beat Colombia.

    Since my favorite OctoPaul, there have been ‘oracle rabbits,’ bears and other animals people around the world and here in Japan have pressured to foretell soccer winners on camera. I can say, however, that PETA would have a field day over here with the the huge amount of cruelty to animals that goes on here, so probably the most humane thing that could happen to any intelligent octopus over here is to sushi him/her.

    I just think it’s sad though to eat your oracle. Also I’m with Steve in recognizing the huge intelligence of octopodes so I don’t eat them either.

    weirdly Wiz has popped up on iTunes more then his share of 12,00 songs.

  16. The plural form of octopus is octopodes. Octopus is a greek word so it doesn’t follow the Latin pluralization rules. Octopi is common but wrong. Just a fun little bit of fyi for everyone.

  20. I’ve been a Friday Post Game fan for years now. Malcolm needs to report in with the latest on the Niger Delta Avengers. Can you bring back Dave Koller’s America? That’s a fun game. Happy to be one of the 19!
