To Brooke’s point about how Jim Jordan should’ve been required to report the things he heard in the locker room: I believe that would fall under his Title IX obligations (effective since 1972), as well as part of Clery Act compliance (effective since 1990), which set mandatory reporting requirements for a broad range of campus employees that work extensively with students (such as coaches) should they learn of anything like that.
I majored in psychology and criminal justice in college so sexual assault or issues surrounding sexual assault came up in several classes and whenever a class was going to encounter anything remotely related to sexual assault we would be informed ahead of time and reminded of faculty members’ mandatory reporting requirements to protect against students sharing their experiences without realizing they would be required to report it. That this happened in multiple classes offered by two entirely different departments speaks to how seriously faculty members were expected to approach this mandate and I’m almost positive that these requirements were in place during the period he was an assistant coach (1987-1995).
I seem to remember trump saying that because he is super rich (lol) he was not going to take a wage during his presidency. Perhaps he can divie it out to the people who’s jobs he is taking away.

Don’t often say this, but Brett is right on that point. People (regular right & left) want progressive ideas (healthcare, ending wars, etc). They agree on more than they disagree on.

If the DNC-Clintoncrats steal the primary elections again…Trump will most certainly win in 2020. The general public fuckin hates the wishy-washy, underhanded spineless bullshit the DNC-Dems are selling.
You often hear Fox pundits talk about how Bernie was robbed & the DNC cheated. Even though they don’t like his policies, they seem to all agree that Hillary & Her own private minions (DNC & establishment Dems) stole the election. Even if TYT says there’s “no evidence” that they rigged the election, just “manipulated” it.
So when the DNC manipulates the primaries (they’re already gearing up) AGAIN, Bernie or any other Progressive, will be side-lined. They will have their own corporate fuck (Kamala, Cory, Old Joe, etc)and they will say ~ AGAIN ~ “You, Progressives & Dem voters, HAVE NO CHOICE but to vote for whoever we want. ”
It is a certainty that they will deny him with the DNC’s new Party Loyalty Test.
Since the DNC refuses to change, Trump will win in 2020.

Am I the only one that gets an uncomfortable feeling by the specification of “doing their jobs” in these condolences. If it were anybody else I would just say “whatever,” and he likely didn’t write it himself so maybe I should shrug it off. But with the Trump talks about journalists it almost feels to me like “the right ones shouldn’t be killed the other ones though…”

We are currently led to be excited about a less than 1% drop and ignore the 5.2% drop during Obama administration. Show the real value of messaging. We need to learn from this.

I love when Jayar is on. I love what he has to say but he’s also just so cool looking! He looks like he’s the guy in school who everyone wanted to hang out with bc he had a cool personality but was also funny and nice.
NPR has done some great reporting on the tariffs effects on Trump supporters and they all said the same thing. They support him and believe that they will suffer in the short term but in the end this will work and it will pay off in spades due to a better deal.

In a transformers movie where Mark Walberg is really upset his 17 year old daughter is dating an 18 year old, he threatens going to the cops. The couple cites a law, “Jude’s Law” or something, that says that if you’re 18 you can legally have sex with someone 2 years younger than you or something like that. If this law isn’t fiction, it sounds perfectly reasonable. I think a half your age plus 7 seven law could reasonable for minors but I’m not a lawyer, study your penal code I guess.
