Hey, the Supreme Court..which was stolen…just passed the Law saying people can’t come together in a suit against a Company…and that it can’t must be Arbitrated…no Courts. I am betting the 1-10% are making a move, along with Trump ,to keep all who are not them…well, you name your nightmare..here we are, the banks rolled back those pesky reg.’s…tell me they are not trying to hurt if not kill us!?
What is clear to me is that the flag represents different things to different people. It might represent states; it might represent the government; it might represent the Constitution; it might represent patriotism; for some it represents the military; we don’t all view our country the same, or agree on what is good about the country.
What is also crystal clear to me is that mandating patriotism is not democratic. I don’t agree that patriotism is something to be valued. Patriotism is simply a kinder term for nationalism, and I don’t view either of them as good for children and other living things.
Patriotism is about revering the father-land and supporting a male-dominated society. I do neither of those things. Cenk is always saying that it’s not about party, but issues, and I agree with that. I also extend it to this: It’s not about nations, but about the planet and the support of life on the planet.
Cenk, as you have so often told us before but seem to have forgotten, FREEDOM OF SPEECH is freedom from reprisals BY THE GOVERNMENT, not in a private sports organization. To be clear though, if they stick with this I suggest they include this in the player’s contracts before they sign them.
Also as long as we’re on football, if this hasn’t been mentioned before, Houston Texans player JJ Watts has said that he will personally pay for all the funeral expenses for all the slain Santa Fe, TX High School kids who were killed in the attack there.
This news that the mandate for ACA doesn’t expire until NEXT year is horrifying. I qualify for medicare in 6 weeks. I let my miserable Blue Cross “insurance” lapse in March. So, therefore, since the policy costs $1099 per month, I may be liable for more then $3000 at tax time. The ONE thing Trump said that I believed turned out to be a lie, as well. Surprise, SurPRAHS (Gomer Pyle style).

Genuine condolences here, but I have to know why this one thing Trump said was believable to you. I’ve noticed that a lot of people around me have done this, but with a varying one thing, like, “Yeah, I know he’s lying about all that other stuff, but THIS ONE THING, I can believe.”
