  1. That AR-15 is still totally fine. All you have to do is purchase a new barrel, they’re usually something like 60-120$, and it’s good as new. She didn’t saw through the upper or the lower, so she could easily get her money back for the gun. Technically, she didn’t even touch the actual gun part, which is the lower piece of metal that the magazine is fed into. This is just a gimmick, it didn’t actually do anything.

  6. I have been homeless in LA county before CPS picked me up and put me back in Maclean, so I know poverty in urban America, and honestly, I would much rather be homeless in LA then working poor or disabled in the rural south.
    Education is the only thing that will fix the rural south. Good luck, because the ignorance and hatred are thick out here, they don’t even know how poor they are.

    Was better last week with Mark acting as the boisterous voice.

I can’t wait until I finish physical therapy so I can watch the show live again. Btw, tyt doesn’t make it easy to find the new show on Thursday. Seriously! I have to click on comments in order to watch the video. It makes stupid sense. And why do I have to wait until Thursday to watch a show that’s live on Tuesday? Makes me think TYT/Cenk might do that deliberately. I wish I could watch it Aggressive Progressives on the same day it airs. I look forward to it every week. Can you give a reasonable explanation for why you can watch video of Cenk & Ana in faster time than you can watch Jimmy on Aggressive Progressives? I’m speaking, of course, about when one is unable to watch either show live.

  8. Ron did a very good job. I enjoyed all the stories and did not miss Jimmy at all. I even thought that the show goes faster without him. He always does these pauses for effect which when you listen only are not very impressive.

  12. It would have been more aggressive without the Ana cup with “The Point”. That represents the MSNBC side of TYT. I don’t know how long it has been since I haven’t watched the main show, and I sent my resignation to TYT but I am stuck for one year. But it is not because of AP, I just can’t believe that they have bought into that Russian Bullshit and Ana is so petulant with her Trump rants that I can’t stand it. Trump is a distraction, and we would already have been in WWIII if Hillary would have won. You hve to look at the bankers that are pulling the strings on the Generals and Oil Executives that have their hands stuffed up Trump’s ass to make his ugly lips move. You can tell they are jamming the hand up further when you see his eyebrows move.

    Please update the military budget, since Lee Camp is reporting on an audit that shows that the Pentagon misplaced over $6 TRILLION dollars just last year. Start saying that the military spends $6 TRILLION each year. Probably $7 TRILLION since they are declaring only $700 billion. And the Swiss are happy to bank that money for those Death Whores.

    Tent City: Take a picture and show it on your shows! Get the image out, you guys have the platform. Become involved.

    Prison: We have 25% of the prisoners in the world. They should pay them $15, but they have to put ankle chains on them and have the guards on horses smoking cigars. (Joke)

    Teacher strike coverage: We have never heard about any of the strikes in European media, even in France. And striking is the national bird in france. They call it “oiseau”.

    NRA: Kudos to Karen Mallard for doing that to an AR-15. That is one Mallard that is not going to Duck and Run. Glad that she is supporting the MFOL, I am too but I think they need to broaden their scope and become like the Poor People’s March and embrace all topics relevant to young folks. Again, I called out the Swiss media for their coverage of the MFOL, and they tried their best to gaslight me. I accuse the Swiss to be major funders of the NRA, and I know it is true since they become very sensitive on the subject. We have a vote here called Pro-Tell and they want to convince the Sheeple to give the weapons industry free rein. They had a bullshit story about shooters here, and they used an analogy of a lady saying that in Switzerland if their is a dispute in a house the reflex is to pick up a frying pan. Merde de Taureau. Switzerland has the second highest suicide rate in the world. The number of gun related crimes is amazing, my Psy said that if we took the statistics and looked at the proportionality, it would change. Don’t use Switzerland as a model for Gun Laws. I know since I have some personal experience with shootings. Let me count the ways. Victim of a drive by shooting, a bomb threat, family members that were victims and first responders of Columbine, and a drive by shotgun threat and a close victim of a race attack with a full water bottle. That is my American experience. On the Swiss side, I was involved in the last dispute of a couple that became a high profile double murder, and also a shooting that happened three weeks after Sandy Hook with a friend killed as one of three deaths and 5 victims. I don’t take people gaslighting lightly.

    Torture: Again, no media coverage in Swiss media. Oh, actually, the day Gina was questioned and Ray McGovern had his shoulder dislocated, the Swiss TV news trotted out Carla Del Ponte who is a procureur for some UN Kangaroo Court, and she was saying she had empathy for torture victims that she met from Syria! They did the same thing about a Swiss bullet company, and they *self-reported” the fact that they had sold weapons to…RUSSIA! And then they talked about the quality of their bullets and how they sold them to the elite squads around the world. I imagine that they are nutting in their lederhosen with the situation in Gaza. BTW, I just saw a video from 2015 with Abby Martin and Max Blumenthal and someone else about the Israelis and their use of dum-dum bullets.
    You know, I think that we have tortured kangaroos for far too long in our justice system. Does anyone know where the ultimate justice can be done for the system, since I don’t know anything more I can do. I am sickened. I am sickened at the videos of Jimmy and everybody, and I have to click a fucking LIKE button when he talks about horrible things. You have to take things to another level. We can no longer laugh and play spectator when we are seeing sick degenerate psychopaths play out their fantasies of the End Times. We need to start a Green Revolution. Get that “The Point” mug off the desk and become Aggressive. But I enjoyed the show.

  13. Great show! Since as members we don’t get the new Youtube TV shows, a few more Aggressive Progressives shows per week would be nice. Ron Placone knocked it out of the park leading the show. He could host some of those extra shows if he was available. And I always appreciate Steve Oh’s insight on any show. His humor and presence was sorely missed on this week’s Friday Post Game. I missed Malcolm and Dave as well. Hope Jimmy heals up quickly, but Ron and Steve carried the torch VERY well.

  30. Everyone having trouble with the downloads. They do work, you just have to RIGHT CLICK on the DOWNLOAD button click “OPEN IN NEW TAB” and it WILL DOWNLOAD. It looks like their buttons are just having issues. That applies to all the videos. It happens sometimes on sites, not just theirs. They will probably fix it if they either notice or people start contacting support.

  31. Oh dear, this was the day Jimmy was going to have economics professor Stephanie Kelton on. Too bad Steve and Ron did not interview her, I guess Jimmy wants to talk to her. And if you DO talk to her, you will find out that WE CAN AFFORD all the nice things we should have had DECADES ago. Yes, we ought to cut our military OFFENSE BUDGET, because it is basically a SCAM, enriching the few via the privatization con job that the greedy devised long ago. But even WITHOUT cutting that budget, WE HAVE THE MONEY!! The federal govt can issue ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY for anything that is physically possible. The greedy sociopaths knew this, but their greed makes them ENRICH THEMSELVES with that money. We have many DOZENS of privatized war companies, and many other systems privatized: federal prisons, healthcare insurance, Medicare Part D and more. They are working on education and infrastructure now. THEY WANT IT ALL – becuase running a privatized system gives them access to our basically UNLIMITED federal money!! They then bill for MASSIVE exec salaries and millions/BILLIONS in profits – guaranteed by federal money!!

    When more people realize what the bastards HAVE and HAVE NOT done, there will be NO stopping the angry wave.   34. Hey yourselves…may I first simply tell that the conversations on this program of yours. It is heartening to myself that it is there to view. I do so appreciate it and in one or two other independent medias from the State’s and U.K which I glean info from.
    So, I’m in the UK, and to become aware over the recent years of the trials and frankly poor show from the state onto its people. Well, an absolute eye opener.
    I trust change will come. I look forward to November and hope the shift to more progressive sorts is there to see.
    You lot in the State’s are pointing to this and that. Here in Europe there are motions and moves (e.g. Hungary, Poland, areas of Germany and so forth and more) where the worry is becoming palpable to think too, that ‘illiberal democracy’ and right-wing attitudes and stances are in effect causing ructions through the continent.

    The U.K. is itself floating on virtual dilemma of more than usual with it’s entertaining of BUSINESS interest rather than moral and more humanitarian outlooks we were familiar with. We do have hard core right-wing political elements too. For an example, take Wolf Blitzer to Rand Paul and telling that the Saudi weapons sales brought jobs and this was to paraphrase, a laudable thing for U.S. jobs. Despite the horror of Yemeni people.

    We had the same argument made here, and actually in Parliament from Conservatives too. The jobs matter, those being killed are the need for the cash to flow to our war complex…I follow your arguments there too of perpetual war to feed the elite of industrial complex. It’s appalling beyond words. The right-wing have the ascendancy in many places!
    I could chat…yet this example you’s crew are showing gives great worry of the stresses we all now face. I don’t know what to do but watch and wait and influence people here at ground level.
    I am evolutionary and not revolutionary…take it easy, thanks a lot and good luck there…and us all really.

    1. People don’t realise that public colleges and universities WERE tuition free until the Nixon/Reagan era.

      In 1970, Roger Freeman, a Hoover Institution economist and a key educational adviser to Nixon then working for the reelection of California Governor Ronald Reagan — defined quite precisely the target of the conservative attack on tuition free college education in an article that appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle:

      “We are in danger of producing an educated proletariat. That’s dynamite! We have to be selective on who we allow to go through higher education.”

    I think that TYT needs to spend a bit more time, attention and resources on their tech. It’s getting pretty miserable.

  37. I recently moved to Colorado, and stayed with a family member. After losing my job (the place moved), and a three hour commute in each direction was just too much. In order to switch my i.d. over from California, I needed to have a lease with my name on it plus a utility bill, or in lieu of a lease, two utility bills with my name on them. I was teetering on the edge of homelessness. Therefore, once a person is genuinely homeless you can’t get valid i.d., and you can’t vote. It took me a month to get things straitened out. Finally as far as the crisis of affordable housing is concerned, this situation belies the free market neoliberal idea that supply and demand will do the job. There is demand for affordable housing, yet there is no supply. Doesn’t that contradict basic economic theory? Our economic and political system is positively sadistic, and don’t anybody delude themselves into thinking it can’t happen to you.

    1. doug, Economics 101 is not a theory but a model. With a model, if the outcomes do not meet what you expect, you know you need to dig deeper to learn what is going on. See James Kwak, Economism (2017) for more on this. Republicans, neo-liberals, and other corporatists use economism to mislead constituents about their “positively sadistic” “economic and political” policies.

      I am glad you were able to get things straightened out. It would be cathartic to vote these bastards out.
