  1. Aside from the fact that Cenk’s poilitical analysis, foresight, and leadership are responsible for TYT’s existence, I’d have to agree with you.

    1. If you’re replying to my comment I completely agree with you.
      Other than the fact he’s so far up his own ass, endlessly self-congratulatory and not an atheist, it’s only his/their oratory skills with which I take issue.
      I love the content itself, for the most.

  2. I feel like today’s coverage generally only attacked the extreme, easy target, opposing view.

    For instance, with solar tariffs, there is a legitimate reason for implementing them in addition to the, “we need to bring back coal,” argument. China has been stealing US companies’ IP for years in the solar market and manufacturing panels invented in US companies without the overhead R&D costs associated with actually developing the underlying technologies. That is why Chinese solar panels are so much less expensive than US-produced panels. Keep in mind too that this wasn’t the first step in alleviating the issue. The US has filed multiple complaints to the WTO regarding thefts of solar IP originating from several countries.

    Now, there are arguments against using tariffs to get China to start preventing this IP theft. Why aren’t these the arguments you are covering? They are the ones that matter. Dismiss the crazy theories by mentioning them and throwing them away. Dig into the nuance. That is what is going to drive the conversation forward, not giving prime time to covering people’s arguments that aren’t using reason to develop their argument in the first place.

  3. Donald Trump is a distraction from what’s really going on. We will become a fascist regime in the next few years. It’s just up to democrats to shove out progressive ideas and shut down any possibility of letting bernie sanders or any other progressive run as the democratic nominee.

    Maybe it’s for the best. Then people would be more engaged in transforming our system before it’s too late.

  4. Both Cenk and Ana used to be my least favorite hosts, but I’ve noticed she isn’t using the filler words (right, look, uhh, umm, etc.) nearly as often which makes her a better listen.
    Still can’t handle Cenk when he’s on his own, but is more palatable when he has others at the desk during Hour One.

  5. I don’t get why the Chaplain isn’t focused exclusively on the poor and the less fortunate. Doesn’t the bible teach us to look after the poorest amongst us? It’s not like we need to take care of the rich, as they are capable of taking care of themselves.

  6. Think about it: the Dem Establishment secretly worked to make Trump the GOP nominee because they knew Hillary was so toxic, a monster like Trump was the only person she could beat (wrong).

    Today, the Dem Establishment has another toxic candidate in Dianne Feinstein and looks at the field in California to see who is such a monster that even toxic Feinstein can beat him… “oh look, there’s a Neo-Nazi…!”

    The Dem Establishment is counting on Feinstein vs Nazi in November. Even Dianne Feinstein can beat a certified Nazi, right…?

    That’s why I am switching my vote to Kevin De Leon, and I hope all the other non-GOP who want to retire Feinstein will vote for KDL, so we can have a decent chance to unseat Dianne Feinstein in November.

  7. current polling has Feinstein in mid-thirties, Little under 20, and KDL under 10. The other 30 candidates have 1 percent or less.

    As it stands today, Feinstein and Little will win the primary and go to run-off. That means Feinstein wins. (I will bet any amount that the Dem establishment is secretly financing Little, for that very reason.)

    If every non-Rep who wants to retire Feinstein votes for KDL on June 5, then he will go to the run-off in November and we will have a REAL horse race.

    I was a Hartson supporter but her amateurish debacle of a campaign has gone nowhere — endless series of unforced errors — she is one of the 30 others with 1 percent or less. We MUST retire DiFi. That is why I am voting for KDL.

    It’s so fucking clear … waterboarding is torture. Burying someone alive, as a threat, is torture. Stripping a prisoner naked and leaving them in a cold cell is torture, etc. etc.
    The US does torture and most of their senators, etc. are okay with it.
    Bush did it. Obama didn’t do shit about it. No one cares.

    This is pure theater. Kamala Harris doesn’t really care. She thinks CA needs more prisoners for slave-labor!
    This is all pure theatre.

      It’s fucking bullshit. Not one of the Senators (aside from McCain ~ who actually KNOWS what torture is!) gives a rats ass. Otherwise, Obama would have “looked backwards” and prosecuted someone! But he did NOT, so essentially he said, “The US is OKAY with torture.”

      Trump will trumpet how he has the first female CIA head, and that means he’s not a sexist or abuser.

  12. @Kim Horcher ~ Snapchat looks bad for Android phones not due to there camera resolution which is just perfect :) It has to do with Snapchat software they only have a few versions and one of the 2 main versions are Apple which is all version of current and many generations behind of all iOs devices. However for Android they use a general version and there are literally thousands and thousands of different Android phones out there so they use a “One size fits all” Software version. What that does vs Apple is w/Apple it uses the Actual Primary Camera to upload snapchat photo and share, Android uses a “Screenshot” to share the photo to send. If you ever went to take a picture and you look at the viewfinder on your phone when taking a picture (photo resolution) vs after viewing the finished photo (photo resolution) it’s pretty massive !! Fyi I do not use Snapchat nor Android soo lets get that TYT Android version out!! <3 TYT

Haspel did what has always been a strategy within this administration, which is to never say yes or no, but say you believe something and something until the person questioning them runs out of time, or they can run away like a coward. Ajit Pai has done it, Donal Trump has done it, other republicans have done it.

  20. Republicans are the illegitimate players of the real world. In gaming there will be an exploit and people will argue “No it’s ok it’s ok to do.”

    Then they get banned, and people go “See it was against the terms of service” and then they try and find a new loophole to exploit, and they keep testing the waters until they stop getting banned.

    They don’t care about what’s right or what’s wrong, all they care about is subverting just enough that they don’t get in trouble, but not so much that they have to work as hard as everyone else and everytime they get banned for immoral behavior they come back and do it all over again.
